My personal accomplishments in the 76th Legislature include:

• co-authoring a $500 million tax cut;
• passing the largest number of bills in our 16-member Dallas House Delegation (including legislation to create a new family violence court, ban the placement of unauthorized tracking devices on our cars, and help achieve the speedy capture of escaped mental patients, easier management of non-profit foundations and charities, greater flexibility in school administration, and simpler handling of estates without wills);
• having my voting record rated one of the most conservative of our Delegation; and
• serving as one of the 7 House Committee Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen in our Delegation, and one of the 3 members from our Delegation on the important House Appropriations Committee.
